Juventus U-19 winger Mamadou Kaly Sene accidentally put a short corner out for an opposition throw-in during Monday’s 1-1 draw against Sassuolo.
In the 19th minute of the Campionato Primavera match at the Juventus Training Centre, the 17-year-old stepped up to take a set piece.
However, his attempt to play it short to a team-mate fell flat as he miscued his kick and sent the ball rolling backwards and out of play.
The intended recipient threw his arms out in bemusement while Sassuolo players trotted over to the touchline to get the game restarted.
The result left Juve’s under-19 side 6th in the table after 23 fixtures played, with Sassuolo lying 12th.
