Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder João Moutinho passed a short corner straight out of play during Tuesday night’s 2-1 win against Manchester United.
With his side 0-1 down after twenty minutes of the Premier League match at Molineux, the Portugal international attempted a novel set piece routine.

He tried to play in a team-mate lurking in the corner of the penalty area by the touchline, but Moutinho’s pass was wayward and went out for a goal kick.
Fortunately for him, Wolves bounced back to claim a second victory over the Red Devils in the space of a month.
Third time Moutinho’s given United CMs a clinic in midfield play. Shame they haven’t learned from his teachings.

Having knocked them out of the FA Cup in the quarter-finals, they emulated the victory in the Premier League thanks to Diogo Jota’s strike and an own goal from Chris Smalling.
