ITV reporter Jonathan Swain was fooled by a Jürgen Klopp lookalike who went to meet England fans at Wembley before Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Germany.
Broadcasting live from outside the stadium, he relayed how he’d met the Liverpool manager and even saw him sitting on a supporter’s shoulders after the match.
I think I might be alright for match commentary. #ENGGER #EUROS2020 #ComeOnEngland pic.twitter.com/vZrQtwCktb

His report included a selfie with the man, who was kitted out in the real Klopp’s customary touchline outfit.
He said:
As I was going into the stadium last night I caught up with Jürgen Klopp as well.
The Liverpool manager, of course, he is German, and he was a great sport yesterday, chatting to many of the England fans as well.
And even after the match, he was on the shoulders of some England supporters drinking a can of beer just here on Wembley Way.
