Homeless rights activists the Manchester Angels, led by campaigner Wesley Hall, took up residence in the city’s landmark Stock Exchange building in an attempt to set up a ‘community hub’ for rough sleepers.
The Guardian were shown around the place by Hall, who has credited Giggs and Neville’s generous gesture as being life-saving for some of the squatters.
