A frustrated Ian Holloway ranted at reporters during the post-match press conference following Crystal Palace’s defeat by Stoke City in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.
The Eagles were knocked out of the cup as Stoke’s Jonathan Walters went from zero to hero and helped his club to a 4-1 home win over the Championship side, despite a late Palace goal forcing the game into extra time.
As if conceding three goals in extra time wasn’t disappointing enough, the charismatic former Blackpool manager was not impressed by the inevitable continuation of the barrage of questions regarding highly-rated Wilfred Zaha’s future at the club.
Strongly linked to the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal, Holloway thinks the constant press speculation is putting undue pressure on the youngster.
