One Hednesford Town fan fell over an advertising hoarding while celebrating a goal against Scarborough Athletic in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
Saturday’s clash at the Flamingo Land Stadium saw home side Boro run out 5-3 winners, although the victory was perhaps less comfortable than it should have been.
They took a 3-0 lead into the half-time break, with Hednesford pulling one back soon after the restart when Reece King converted from Matt Dodd’s cross.
It was then that a supporter somehow ended up tumbling head-first over the barrier between stand and pitch.
The result left Scarborough 5th in the table, seven points off top side Nantwich Town, while Hednesford are languishing in 16th.
Boro’s Flamingo Land Stadium is so named due to sponsorship from a local “theme park, zoo and resort”.
