VIDEO: Harry Kane lookalike on ITV’s Lorraine

Likeness debated on social media by viewers.

A dubious Harry Kane lookalike was interviewed as a guest on Lorraine, ITV’s weekday morning show, ahead of England’s World Cup semi-final against Croatia.

Danny McLaughlin, 26, is a Youth Development Worker at Hackney Council, working with young offenders when he’s not appearing as a Harry Kane lookalike in his spare time.

Appearing in full England kit on the programme, he said:

I’ve had it over the last few years and through university a lot, guys chanting in queues, but more recently with how great Harry Kane’s doing it’s been crazy with people asking for selfies and videos.

Though his likeness was debated on social media by viewers, McLaughlin, who stands at 6 foot 8 inches tall, is doing it for a good cause:

My dad sadly passed away coming up to two years in August so any donations from appearances, any money that is made from this, is going to Prostate Cancer UK.

Lorraine got to the root of the story by also confirming that he was indeed single and looking for love.
