The lights went out at Spanish side Real Valladolid’s Estadio José Zorrilla ahead of their game against Real Madrid on Sunday evening.
The 26,512-capacity La Liga stadium descended into darkness as the floodlight system dramatically failed while the teams were warming up on the pitch.

A power outage was blamed for leaving large parts of the stadium without electricity.
There were also reports that the lights in the dressing rooms weren’t working.
Confusion reigned in the stands with fans barely able to see a few feet in front of them.
The lights eventually came back on and the match was able to go ahead as planned.
