Jogging onto the field during a water break, the imposter was spotted by Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart and made a swift exit following a quick word with physio Gary Lewin.
As he is led away by security, perhaps the youth in question is reflecting that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to gatecrash an England training session after all.
The incident echoes comedian Lee Nelson’s attempt to board England’s plane to the 2014 World Cup in the guise of his Jason Bent character.
