Reduced to eight men in 0-4 defeat.

Everton de Viña del Mar had three players sent off in the opening half hour of their 0-4 Chilean Primera División defeat to La Serena at the Estadio Sausalito.

First to go was Julio Barroso in the 20th minute, for an off-the-ball incident which the referee upgraded from a yellow to a red card following a VAR check.

Rodrigo Echeverría was dismissed three minutes later, apparently for saying something untoward to the ref while protesting about a heavy challenge.

Then Juan Cuevas received his marching orders on 29 minutes for elbowing an opponent in the head, leaving Everton to play out the rest of the match with eight men.
