Apparently feigned injury to make his escape following confrontation relating to child maintenance.

See Enner Valencia chased by police after apparently feigning injury during Ecuador vs Chile last night in an effort to avoid their attentions following an earlier confrontation relating to an alleged unpaid child maintenance bill.

In the clip the striker, currently on loan at Everton from West Ham, can be seen being transported off the pitch by golf cart, with what appear to be armed police officers running closely behind.

The Ecuadorian international is said to have been later transferred to a waiting ambulance and driven out of the Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa to make his escape.
