England’s Lauren Hemp scored against Mexico by falling over the goalkeeper and onto the ball before it squeezed out from underneath her and into the net.
The England Women Under-20’s number nine grabbed a hat-trick in their 6-1 win over the Mexicans at Stade de Marville in Saint-Malo on Sunday.
Man City’s Lauren Hemp could have known little about this strike as she was tripped by Emily Alvarado sliding towards her.
Following the last of their group stage games in the U-20 Women’s World Cup in France, the English top Group B and reach the quarter-finals.
