Flying insects have everybody running for cover after just ten minutes of play.

See the chaos caused by an invasion of bees that forced an Ecuadorian Primera A clash between River Plate and Aucas to be abandoned on Sunday.

With everybody running for cover and picking the flying insects out of their hair, play was suspended just ten minutes after kick-off.

As you can see in the clip, a valiant beekeeper arrived on the scene but he was unable to prevent the match at the Estadio Christian Benítez Betancourt in Guayaquil eventually being called off.

Watch the full effects of the bee invasion that caused the game in Ecuador to be abandoned and later replayed in the complete video above.
