A Derry supporter in the stands threw the ball away from a Waterford player during a League of Ireland Premier Division match between the two sides.
Derry City beat Waterford 3-2 in a topsy-turvy contest at Brandywell Stadium on Monday night with the help of two own goals from the visitors.
When the ref books your player for carrying the ball down the line at 1-0 & then their players kick it away twice at 1-1 & nothing done about it until the 3rd time; fans at 3-1 up are going to do this after becoming frustrated at Waterford's constant time wasting

At one point, a home fan took it upon himself to throw the ball far away from the Waterford player waiting patiently next to him before taking a throw-in late in the second-half.
21-year-old midfielder Georgie Poynton could only turn to the ref in despair as it sailed away from him.
The game eventually restarted and Derry secured a second win in their first three games of the season.
