Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri looked furious on the sidelines when Kepa Arrizabalaga appeared to disobey his orders to come off in the Carabao Cup final against Man City on Sunday.
After receiving treatment in extra time, the goalkeeper repeatedly indicated to the bench that he did not want to be substituted despite the fourth official holding up the board with his number on it.

Growing frustrated as the situation dragged on, at one point the head coach started to head down the Wembley tunnel as if leaving the game before seemingly thinking better of it.
Kepa Arrizabalaga remained on the pitch, leaving his unused replacement Willy Caballero disappointed.

Chelsea went on to lose on penalties with the goalie making little impact.
In his post-match interview, Sarri has claimed the entire incident was just a misunderstanding and that it’s unlikely the player will face any disciplinary action.
