Catania’s manager has been banned for four games after he was shown a red card for taking the ball off a Vibonese player following a foul on one of his.
Vibonese lost 2-1 at Catania’s Stadio Angelo Massimino in a mid-table clash in Italy’s Serie C on Wednesday.
In a Seria C fixture, Catania’s manager stopped a dying minute counter against his team and got a red card.

After a bad challenge on one of his players in added time at the end of the second half, Giuseppe Raffaele stepped onto the pitch to tackle the offender.
Referee Marco Acanfora rushed over to the scene, sent Raffaele off and awarded a free kick the opposite way for his unsportsmanlike behaviour.
