Carlisle United manager Chris Beech has had his players doing some interesting training exercises, including routines in the styles of salmon and crabs.

In the first clip, you can see the squad lying on their fronts with their hands behind their backs, squirming like the fish as they struggle to manipulate the ball.

Something slightly different to help the starters from Tuesday night with their recovery 😂 #cufc 🦀 pic.twitter.com/dgDgzGUBJS

They also split into two teams to play a mini match while crouching down backwards like crabs, which seems unlikely to translate to a matchday scenario.

Whatever Beech is doing appears to be working, though, as his Cumbrians side lie 5th in League Two after seven games.
