Brighton’s Florin Andone was not happy after being kicked by teammate Bernardo as the players walked out onto the pitch ahead of a game against Southampton.
Brighton were beaten 0-2 by Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side at the Amex on Saturday.
With the squad still in their tracksuits some time before kick off, 24-year-old Bernardo appeared to kick out at the back of Andone’s leg.
Andone, the older of the two, forcefully complained to the Brazilian following the incident.
However, some fans have claimed Bernardo’s kick was aimed at recently spat out chewing gum.
While the culprit tried to laugh it off, his victim seemed bemused by events.
