VIDEO: Botafogo play cat attack noises before game against Chapecoense

Angry feline sounds before goalless draw.

Botafogo played ‘attacking cat’ noises over the PA system before Tuesday’s match against Chapecoense, perhaps as an instruction to go for the metaphorical jugular.

If the angry feline sounds were meant to encourage an offensive approach from the Brazilian side, it wasn’t enough to prevent a goalless draw at the Estádio Nilton Santos.

The result leaves Botafogo lying 9th in Brazil’s Série A having won seven, lost seven and drawn two of their opening sixteen games.

Chapecoense lie 17th having won just three of their fixtures.
