These Birmingham City supporters convinced a fan he needed his passport for Cardiff, egging him on to show it on camera in this video.

Much like legendary comedy show The Young Ones, the travelling Brummies – seen here driving to the match – appear to include a fall guy by the name of Neil.

While we’re not privy to the moment he was tricked into bringing his passport, we do get to see an embarrassed Neil get coaxed into flashing it at the camera during the car journey to Wales.

Happily for Neil, his day would get better as an 89th minute Lukas Jutkiewicz strike earned Blues a creditable away point.

The result eases the pressure on Gianfranco Zola and leaves his side six points clear of the relegation zone in the Championship.

It also makes it four games without a win for Neil Warnock’s previously resurgent Bluebirds.

But remember, folks – Scotland might soon vote to leave the UK, but as of yet you certainly don’t need a passport to enter Wales from England.
