As Newcastle Jets visited Central Coast Mariners for a considerably one-sided A-League clash, the hosts’ giant barbecue sauce bottle mascot appeared to gesture towards the away fans.

The Mariners were soundly beaten 1-5 on the day and the MasterFoods BBQ Sauce, which appeared alongside a matching ketchup bottle, faced chants of ‘Who are ya?’ from the travelling supporters.

After apparently becoming irate, BBQ put their costumed middle finger up to swear towards the singing fans at the Central Coast Stadium.
