Astra Giurgiu midfielder Romario Moise found a phone on the pitch during Sunday’s Romanian Liga I match against Sepsi Sfântu Gheorghe.

The two sides played out a 2-2 draw at the Stadionul Marin Anastasovici, with Valentin Gheorghe scoring twice and getting sent off for home side Astra.

In the 80th minute, his team-mate Moise picked up a smartphone he’d found lying on the turf, and it seems there was something of a mystery as to who it belonged to.

This was especially confusing given that the game was played behind closed doors due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
