Aston Villa’s Louie Barry asked Fabinho for his shirt back after swapping with the Liverpool star at the end of Friday’s FA Cup 3rd round match.
The 17-year-old scored on his debut as Dean Smith’s side were forced to field a weakened team at Villa Park following a COVID-19 outbreak among the squad.
It proved to be a consolation as a strong Reds line-up ran out 4-1 winners, but it was nevertheless a momentous occasion for the young forward.
As such, a member of staff advised him to go and reclaim his matchday jersey having seen him exchange it for that of his illustrious Brazilian opponent.
Ultimately, he ended up with both shirts.
