Wenger’s senior playing career spanned a total of 8 years. From 1973 to ’81 he played for 4 teams: Mutzig, Mulhouse, ASPV Strasbourg and RC Strasbourg in a position deemed by Wikipedia to be “uncertain”, as well as youth appearances for FC Duttlenheim.

As a player, Wenger’s legacy was modest. His most notable achievement was being part of and making 3 appearances for Strasbourg’s 1978-79 championship-winning squad, before going on to become a youth coach for the French side.

But, even all this time later, Arsène’s got some moves…

In this short but cleverly put-together piece, several shots of the Strasbourg-born coach showing off his skills during the more idle moments of Arsenal training sessions are set to music before Pat Rice comes in and ruins everything at the end.
