The Danes secured a vital Group B 1-0 win in Yerevan on Tuesday night thanks to a 73rd minute goal from Liverpool’s Daniel Agger, going some way towards healing the wounds of losing the reverse fixture 4-0 back in June 2012.

The highlight of the match however was a disastrous Armenia corner taken by Spartak Moscow’s 23-year-old winger Aras Özbiliz, where the player appeared to trip over the corner flag and crash down on to the pitch on top of the ball.

Handball, you’re thinking, obviously. But no…

Incredibly Armenia were given a chance to take the corner again and Özbiliz as able to redeem himself.

Denmark are now third in Group B, 1 point behind Bulgaria, while Armenia lie 5th.
