For reasons best known to himself, one spectator wore a virtual reality headset to Manchester City’s 1-2 defeat to Lyon on Wednesday night.
The Champions League Group F clash at the Etihad produced a shock result, with the French side racing into a two-goal lead before the break.
Although Bernardo Silva halved the deficit midway through the second half, Lyon clung on for a precious win.
However, another talking point emerged from the fixture in the form of the man wearing a virtual reality headset:
Feels like your really at the game.🙄

What you don't realise is that the headset gives the illusion that the stadium is full when you look around.
