A Brighton and Hove Albion fan wore a seagull mask to Wembley for his side’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City on Saturday.

In the other semi, a Mexican wrestling mask worn by Raúl Jiménez emerged as a talking point – but he was not the only one to wear a disguise over the weekend.

The previous day, this Brighton supporter went to cheer the team on while wearing a seagull mask that’s unsettlingly lifelike.

Brighton are of course nicknamed the Seagulls, hence the choice of attire.

Nevertheless, it failed to spur Chris Hughton’s men onto victory as they lost 1-0 to a 4th minute goal from Gabriel Jesus.

Man City will play Watford in the final after the Hornets bounced back from two goals down to beat Wolves 3-2 after extra time.
