Schalke 04 ultras unveiled a banner apologising to sex workers on behalf of German football fans connecting them with Hoffenheim owner Dietmar Hopp.
Bayern Munich fans took a banner reading “Du Hurensohn” (“you son of a whore”) to their recent 6-0 win at Hoffenheim’s Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
Hoffenheim-Bayern stopped for a few minutes with Bayern 6-0 up as fans in the away block unfurl a banner.
“Dietmar Hopp [TSG owner] remains a son of a whore.”

As a result, the two teams agreed to play out the final 15 minutes of the match without scoring in protest at the abuse.
Software billionaire Hopp is unpopular with Bundesliga rivals for the heavy investment he’s plowed into his home village team, taking them from the Oberliga (fifth tier) into the Champions League.
This has been seen to be as going against traditional German football values.
Bayern Munich’s most well-known ultra group, Schickeria, has been under criticism due to their protests against Dietmar Hopp & collective punishments.
KH Rummenigge called his ultras “idiots” & “anarchists.”
A reminder who they are & what they stand for.

Dortmund ultras were recently banned from attending games against Hoffenheim en masse as punishment for their years of targeting Hopp.
In the latest manifestation of the ongoing saga, Schalke supporters unfurled this banner at Saturday’s home game against Hopp’s club.

It translates as:
We apologize to all whores for connecting them to Mr. Hopp!
The match itself ended 1-1 at the Veltins-Arena.
