A Newcastle fan was revealed to have a large tattoo of Alan Shearer on his back after a tweet containing a photo of it was shown on Match of the Day 2.
The almost caricatural likeness of the former world-record signing, who is now a pundit on the Saturday night version of the show, is from his playing days at the club but somewhat oddly features him in a suit and tie.
It reads ‘Newcastle United’ above the tattoo and simply ‘Shearer’ below.
