Watch the moment Jürgen Klopp found a box for interviewer Natalie Quirk to stand on in order to offset a drastic height difference.

BT Sport reporter Quirk was tasked with speaking to the Liverpool manager after his side’s 1-0 Europa League win over FC Augsburg, but her diminutive stature threatened to scupper proceedings.

However, the 6’4″ German proved himself a perfect gentleman as he supplied her with a box to stand on so they could see eye to eye.

James Milner’s first-half penalty gave the Reds a 2nd leg victory at Anfield and set up a juicy-looking last 16 tie against Man Utd.

Taking to Twitter afterwards, Quirk was clearly enamoured with the German’s gentlemanly gesture:
