di Iorio was officiating a Primera B Metropolitana clash between Liniers and Centro Español when a misdirected hoof bounced off her head.
The 34-year-old Argentine lawyer then collapsed to the floor as club medical staff and players are seen coming to her aid.
Thankfully, the ref was eventually able to continue but did attend a hospital following the game as a precaution – although there are reportedly no lasting ill effects from the incident.

Salomé di Iorio is an official of some repute and could be considered Argentina’s top female referee.
She was selected as referee for the 2009 Copa Libertadores de Fútbol Femenino as well as the women’s tournament at the 2012 Olympics and is also the only female ref in the Argentine Primera División’s reserves league.
