Carlisle United players have been receiving man of the match curries as rewards, with Joe Riley the most recent recipient following the defeat to Forest Green Rovers.

The former Man Utd youth defender looked nonplussed as he posed with his congratulatory korma from local restaurant The Viceroy.

But he could be excused for not bursting into smiles straight after losing at home in Tuesday’s League Two promotion six-pointer at Brunton Park.
