Number eight, Anderson is the latest victim of the perhaps dyslexic Manchester United kit man.

Following a series of spelling errors, the curse has struck once again. Poor Anderson Luís de Abreu Oliveira took to the field against Everton in the opening match of the season with Andesron emblazoned across the back of his shirt.

Past hits from the team that brought you Andesron include Beckam, Solksjaer, S’hea, Zuszczak.

Sunderland also managed to achieve the same feat in their opening game against Arsenal. Poor brother-in-arms James McClean lined-up while missing a C, making him simply McLean.
