Liverpool beat Arsenal 5-1 on their first visit to Anfield since the protracted departure of Arsène Wenger at the end of last season.

After 20 games of Unai Emery’s reign, inevitable comparisons are being made between the pair.

Arsenal have now conceded 30 goals this season, five more than at the same stage of the club’s ill-fated previous campaign.

They also contrived to let in four goals in the first half of a Premier League game for just the fourth time ever.

Please, is this what Wenger was humiliated, denigrated, mocked & ultimately kicked out of Arsenal for? This is what the decent, humble man who sacrificed his life for that club was disgraced & so badly disrespected for? This? Interesting.

Both Wenger and Sir Alex left behind chaos despite repeatedly saying they would leave a stable club for the next manager
