Chelsea have sacked manager Frank Lampard after 18 months in charge of the Premier League side and is expected to be replaced by Thomas Tuchel.
The 42-year-old club legend leaves them 9th in the table with just one win in the past five league games but clinched victory in his last match – a 3-1 victory over Luton in the FA Cup.
Lampard said he was “disappointed not to have had the time to take the club forward” in a statement released on Monday night.

Chelsea fans: Frank Lampard is a club legend, we’ve got to give him time. His signings will gel and Timo Werner will come good soon. Sacking him now would be insanity

Say what you want about Lampard but this was his dream job, at least he'll always have that superb Transfer Window 2020 trophy…can't take that away from him!
