Spurs manager José Mourinho has been forced to apologise after holding a training session with Tanguy Ndombele in the park while the country is supposed to be on lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Details emerged after footage of the pair on Hadley Common in Barnet, north London on Tuesday was shared online.

L'Équipe report that Tanguy Ndombele had finished his morning fitness session at home on Tuesday, just moments before José Mourinho, without prior warning, rang his doorbell, speaking into the intercom: "Come down, we are going for a run."

With the public being told to stay at home except for a small number of essential reasons, Mourinho now apparently ‘accepts he was wrong’ for taking the midfielder out of isolation.

The fitness of summer-signing Ndombele was under scrutiny until the Premier League was suspended in March.
