Diego Costa, Chelsea – £10.6m

Swansea City may not be the easiest opponents, but Chelsea’s home advantage should see them score at least a couple and you’d expect Costa to be central.

As such, you might want to consider captaining him. If the hamstring problem that saw him withdraw from Spain’s squad keeps him out here, why not try his new understudy Loïc Rémy at just £7.4m?

Thinking of giving the Diego-ahead? Consult Mystic Megson’s Chelsea v Swansea preview.

Steven Naismith, Everton – £5.4m

It’s three in three now for the super Scot, and while a trip to the Hawthorns to play West Brom is rarely straightforward we can see him getting a fourth.

“Scot potential, this one” – if that’s what you’re thinking, be sure to check in with Mystic Megson’s West Brom v Everton preview.

Saido Berahino, West Bromwich Albion – £5.6m

Conversely, Everton’s defence has not made a good start, conceding ten goals already – as such, Berahino could prove a shrewd move.

Wayne Rooney, Manchester United – £10.5m

The temptation may be to go with £11m new boy Radamel Falcao, but it might be wiser to see how he settles in before virtually spending that kind of money.

You know what you’re getting with Rooney, and he’s slightly cheaper. If United are to score at home to Queens Park Rangers this weekend, Rooney is likely to be involved one way or another.

Will Rooney Wayne supreme? See Mystic Megson’s Manchester United v QPR preview.

Nikica Jelavić, Hull City – £6m

With Hull at home to West Ham United and their Croatian striker already on two goals for the season, £6m looks a potential bargain. Maybe not one for the long haul, though.

Andreas Weimann, Aston Villa – £5.6m

Villa have a strong recent record at Anfield with two score draws and a 3-1 win from their last three visits, so don’t rule out Weimann continuing his flying start.

Why man? Perhaps Mystic Megson may be of assistance with his Liverpool v Aston Villa preview.

Good luck and happy selecting!
