This Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 38 captains round-up is here to give you guidance in selecting both your skipper and a handy vice-captain.

Recommended selections this week include players from Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd and Sunderland.

1. Alexis Sánchez, Arsenal (midfielder)

The obvious choice, playing as he does at home to Aston Villa, although Olivier Giroud might also be worth considering given that he ended his goal drought in the 2-2 draw at Man City.

2. Sergio Agüero, Man City (forward)

A final day trip to Swansea could conceivably yield a big haul for the explosive Argentine, even if the Swans did win 4-1 at West Ham last time out.

3. Anthony Martial/Marcus Rashford/Wayne Rooney, Man Utd (forwards)

United play at home to Bournemouth with a top four finish still very much up for grabs.

4. Jermain Defoe, Sunderland (forward)

He’s scored most of his goals away from home this season, so Watford beware. Mind you, if Sunderland beat Everton on Wednesday night then they’re safe, so keep an eye on that one.
