Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 29 captains round-up

This Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 29 captains round-up is here to help you select a skipper and a handy vice-captain.

Recommended selections this week include players from Everton, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Bournemouth, Sunderland and Swansea City.

1. Romelu Lukaku, EVE (forward)

He has ten goals in eleven games going into the home fixture against Hull, so it’s hard to look past the Toffees ace.

2. Alexis Sánchez, ARS (midfielder)

Despite rumours of dressing room strife, you have to assume he’ll be back in the starting XI for the trip to West Brom – and with the Baggies in poor form, he could fill his boots.

3. Diego Costa, CHE (forward)

An away game at Stoke may seem relatively tricky on paper, especially after the Potters’ 0-0 draw at Man City, but Costa this season has been nothing if not consistent.

4. Sergio Agüero, MCI (forward)

Disappointed those who triple captained him in Gameweek 27, but he’s still Sergio Agüero. Up next, home to Liverpool.

5. Josh King, BOU (midfielder)

Strange times when a Bournemouth midfielder is so high up the list of potential captains, but nine goals in ten games going into a home fixture against Swansea is hard to ignore.

6. Jermain Defoe, SUN (forward)

Hasn’t scored in three games, but he hit the woodwork against both Everton and Man City so there’s every reason to believe his luck could turn for the home game against Burnley.

7. Gylfi Sigurðsson, SWA (midfielder)

Home advantage gives Josh King the edge in Bournemouth v Swansea, but the away side’s Icelandic star is in fine form too.

Good luck and happy selecting!
