This Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 26 captains round-up is here to help you select a skipper and handy vice-captain.
Recommended captain picks for this Gameweek include players from Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Liverpool, Leicester City and Manchester City.
1⃣ Harry Kane TOT, FWD
His Double Gameweek at home to Burnley and away to Fulham makes Kane the most attractive option on paper, and therefore he’s likely to be the most popular pick among high-ranking players.
As with Patrick Bamford in DGW25, this makes him a very dangerous captaincy to ignore for anyone who’s pleased with their rank and can’t stomach a sudden and alarming drop-off.
For those looking to make ground and with less to lose, it could be well worth captaining Bruno Fernandes and gambling that Kane struggles against two well-drilled defences.
2⃣ Bruno Fernandes MUN, MID
The other obvious choice – the game’s highest scoring player plays away to Chelsea and Crystal Palace, and it’s the former of these fixtures that sparks the doubt.
There’s a good argument for Bruno even being the safe option given how consistently he returns.
3⃣ Mohamed Salah LIV, MID
Plays away to Sheffield Utd in one of his DGW28 games, but his other – home to Chelsea – could scarcely be worse given Liverpool’s recent home form.
4⃣ Harvey Barnes LEI, MID
A goal and assist in each of his last two matches, and looking in red-hot form going into Leicester’s double at home to Arsenal and away to Burnley.
5⃣ İlkay Gündoğan MCI, MID
Might just be the stand-out option if it wasn’t for City’s clear lead, which makes it more comfortable for them to rotate around their Champions League fixtures.
Plays at home to West Ham and Wolves, but you’d have to think there’s a decent chance he doesn’t start one of those matches.
