Stewart Downing, West Ham – £6.5m
With a home game against a struggling and injury-hit Hull side this weekend, Downing could at the very least provide an assist or two for Andy Carroll et al, perhaps even score one himself.
Dušan Tadić, Southampton – £7.7m
Two goals and two assists from his last five league games make an attractive proposition of the Serb ahead of Saints’ trip to out-of-form Newcastle.
Ángel Di María, Manchester United – £9.4m
Given his price had crept above £10m before his recent injury lay-off, you might want to think about bringing him in at a greatly reduced price with the Red Devils set to visit struggling QPR.
Christian Eriksen and/or Nacer Chadli, Spurs – £8.2m/£6.5m
As awkward an opponent as Sunderland can be, you’d have to imagine that Spurs will be desperately keen to get back on track after losing 2-1 at Crystal Palace.
Eriksen’s due a goal after going a few games out, while Chadli’s goals and assists stats hold up next to any other midfielder in the league.
Kevin Mirallas, Everton – £7.2m
Everton finished strongly in the 1-1 draw against Man City when Mirallas replaced Aiden McGeady as a late substitute, so expect him to start at home to West Brom, against whom he scored at the Hawthorns earlier this season, in Monday night’s fixture.
George Boyd, Burnley – £4.6m
A popular cheap option at the moment and a decent shout for a goal or assist at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
