Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 16 midfielders round-up

Listen up, fantasy freaks – our Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 16 midfielders round-up is here to lend a helping hand towards making all your fantasy football fantasies come true!

Our tips are based on FPL player prices, but the principles should apply more or less across the board – so even if your fantasy football game of choice lies at Sky Sports, the Telegraph, the Mirror or anywhere else for that matter, you should read on.

Let’s do this thing…

Eden Hazard, Chelsea – £10.3m

Has scored in each of Chelsea’s previous four home league games, so he’s a good bet to do so again when an obstinate yet struggling Hull City side come to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Yaya Touré, Manchester City – £10.7m

Last week we proclaimed the Ivorian to be well and truly back, and he duly obliged by scoring the winner from the spot against Everton – as such he has now scored 10 FPL points in three of his last four games.

Oh and £5.4m team mate James Milner has assists in three consecutive games now – potential bargain there.

Stewart Downing, West Ham United – £6.1m

Was already having a fine season both in reality and fantasy – and now he looks to have a fit and firing Andy Carroll to aim his crosses at. Sunderland beware!

Gylfi Sigurðsson, Swansea City – £6.9m

Tends to do most of his scoring and assisting in home games, and he should be extra fired up when his former club Tottenham Hotspur visit the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

Jonathan Walters, Stoke City – £5.2m

We don’t expect Walters to continue scoring at his current rate for the duration of the season, but it is worth noting that he’s scored four goals in his last seven appearances – can he continue his hot streak at Crystal Palace this weekend?

AVOID: Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal

We recommended him but he’s got himself injured for about a month they say. Just when he was BACK!
