This Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 13 captains round-up is here to give you guidance in selecting both your skipper and a handy vice-captain.
Recommended selections this week include players from Everton, Leicester, Arsenal, Spurs and Man City.
Mesut Özil, Arsenal (midfielder)
Almost all of the Gunners’ attacking moves are going through the in-form German, who’s already on 10 assists for the season and creates enough chances to pick up plenty of bonus points too. Next up, away to a West Brom side that’s conceded 3 goals at home to each of Man City, Chelsea, Everton and Leicester already this season.
Romelu Lukaku, Everton (forward)
The Toffees hit man is in a rich vein of form and has plenty of potential for goals and assists, although home to Aston Villa is a fixture complicated by the visitors’ appointment of a new manager in Remi Garde. Will we see the Everton that beat Sunderland 6-2 or the Villa that drew 0-0 with Man City? If you fancy the former, Lukaku’s your man.
Jamie Vardy, Leicester (forward)
We’re still waiting for his incredible run of goals to come to an end, but you wouldn’t necessarily fancy it coming against struggling Newcastle, even if Leicester are the away side.
Harry Kane, Spurs (forward)
Seems to be getting back to last season’s levels, in which case he’ll be a good shout for captaincy in most games he plays, including that at home to West Ham in Gameweek 13.
Sergio Agüero, Man City (forward)
Reports suggest he’ll be back for the home game against Liverpool, and while he may not hit the ground running he’s a tempting option nevertheless.
Good luck and happy selecting!
