A new season of Fantasy Premier League is about to get under way, so do consider the following three potential Leicester bargains.
Claudio Ranieri replacing Nigel Pearson won’t make the Foxes any less of a basket case of a club, but if he can harness the momentum that saw them roar from relegation certs to comfortable survivors at the end of last season then they could be in for a flying start.
That’s, like, why we’ve got these Leicester bargains for you…
Wes Morgan, defender – £4.5m
Looks set to miss the start of the season, but that’s a great price for a player who finished last season as one of the FPL’s top 20 best performing defenders.
Kasper Schmeichel, goalkeeper – £4.5m
You won’t get a first-choice goalkeeper for cheaper than that, at least until someone important gets injured, and Schmeichel was a key performer in the miraculous late recovery.
Marc Albrighton, midfielder – £5m
Ended 2014-15 on fire. Mind you, £5.5m Riyad Mahrez looked pretty tasty on occasion too.
