Steal a march on other fantasy football managers with these Fantasy Premier League bargain forwards to start the season with.
Recommended picks for 2018/19 include players from Liverpool, West Ham, Everton, Crystal Palace and Burnley.
💸 Marko Arnautović WHU, £7m
Listed as a forward this time around, which is fair enough since he ended last season as West Ham’s main man up top with a flurry of goals and assists.
He’s been linked with a move to Man Utd, but if he starts the season somewhere where he’s first choice then he could be quite the bargain.
💸 Cenk Tosun EVE, £7m
After his impressive end to last season, Tosun looks like being Everton’s first-choice centre-forward for the new campaign.
At £7m, even an unremarkable tally – say, 12 goals – would reward your investment. He will however face competition from £5.5m Oumar Niasse.
💸 Wilfried Zaha CRY, £7m
Like Arnautović, Zaha is now listed as a forward rather than a midfielder but ended last season in such fine form that he could wind up a bargain all the same.
💸 Chris Wood BUR, £6.5m
Along with Ashley Barnes his run of goals at the end of last season helped Burnley secure a Europa League spot, so either could serve you well.
However, Wood has more of a track record as a goal-scorer than Barnes, so it might be worth the extra £0.5m to get him instead.
Be warned though that the aforementioned European campaign could take its toll on the Clarets.
💸 Daniel Sturridge LIV, £6m
Looked rejuvenated during pre-season, and while he might not always start there’s no reason why he can’t get among the goals from off the bench.
