DMA'S

Sydney’s DMA’S release new single “Your Low” on July 27th, so we caught up with front man Tommy O’Dell for a natter about his beloved Everton…

How did you come to support the Toffees?

My old man is from Liverpool and supports Everton. I didn’t have a choice to be honest, just the way it’s always been.

What are your expectations for this season?

I have good expectations for this upcoming season – top 6 and hopefully some silverwear.

Do you think Roberto Martínez is doing a good job?

Last year was tough for Martínez – a lot of his players underperformed and he was hit with some crucial injuries. I think this year he will bounce back and get Everton playing the brand of football he is after, and that he achieved in the first year.

Which areas of the team/squad would you like to see strengthened?

The signings of Deulofeu and Cleverley will strengthen Everton’s side for sure. I would like to see another attacking central midfield player brought in. A creative player, that link up man that can bring the best out of Lukaku

Have you managed to get to Goodison Park much to watch them over the years?

Whenever I’m in England I try to get to Goodison. Not nearly as much as I would like, though.

Would you be able to name the first, best and worst games you’ve ever been to?

What comes to mind is getting knocked out of the FA Cup at home to Tranmere Rovers. *Pensive face*

Finally, if you had to select a five-a-side team out of all the players you’ve seen play for your team in your time as a fan, who would you pick?

Gravesen, Ferguson, Cahill, Arteta, Stones.

Sydney’s DMA’S will release their new single “Your Low” on July 27 on Infectious Music. For more information, please visit their official website.
