Apparently a dust devil, this incredible spiral measured thirty-two feet across and severely disrupted a children’s football match in Japan.

A responsible adult keeps the kids out of harms way while they all watch the enormous whirlwind fly about the pitch, blasting tents into the trees.

According to Wikipedia:

Dust devils are usually harmless, but can on rare occasions grow large enough to pose a threat to both people and property.
