Watch as Roberto Mancini dances a tango on the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars, the Strictly Come Dancing of Italy.

Aired on the nation’s Rai 1 TV network, the 52-year-old former Manchester City manager’s moves are accompanied by a female partner and a reworked version of “Roxanne” by The Police.

This particular round of the show is an improvisation challenge called Dancer for One Night, so Mancini didn’t get to rehearse.

As such, it’s fair to say the erstwhile Sampdoria hit man acquits himself reasonably well to the task at hand.

At the very least, when Mancini dances a tango it seems to have a touch more glamour and style about it than Ed Balls doing “Gangnam Style”.
