Morecambe winger Kevin Ellison took a good-natured dig at his speed rating in FIFA 19 by posting a clip of himself walking across the pitch with a Zimmer frame.

Given just 35 for pace, the 39-year-old Liverpudlian made fun of his perceived slowness by claiming to have evidence that he’s quicker than people think.

The video starts with a ball rolling across the pitch at Morecambe’s Globe Arena home ground, followed by Ellison pursuing it with the aid of a walking frame.

As well as boasting a healthy sense of humour, Ellison has been a fine servant for Morecambe over the years, scoring 79 goals in 315 appearances.
