Watch Mario Balotelli cooking on Italian TV show Buon Appetito as he gets in the kitchen for the first time ever.

Apparently cooking for the first time his life, the AC Milan striker joined the chefs on the programme and cooked up a fantastic feast.

Buon Appetito‘s Facebook page describes the show as “trasmissione televisiva di enogastronomia che valorizza le ricette e i prodotti tipici della provincia di Brescia”, or a “telecast of food and wine that enhances the recipes and typical products of the province of Brescia”.

And Mario’s appearance is billed as:

Mario Balotelli chef; nobile gesto di affetto di Mario Balotelli per la sua città: Brescia. SuperMario prima cucina, poi degusta e infine brinda.

… or:

Mario Balotelli chef; noble gesture of affection Mario Balotelli for his city: Brescia. SuperMario before cooking, then taste and finally toast.

In the clip below the controversial Italian can be heard muttering:

I have never cooked before in my life because my mother is so good at cooking that there was never any need for me to cook. Milan have given us a diet plan, but it is not all the players that are following it.
